At Upton by Chester Tennis Club we are focused on providing a membership with the highest levels of customer satisfaction & we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. From club hours, social events and competitive teams, we provide the resources for you to enjoy your tennis and make lifelong friends. Upton by Chester Tennis Club is affiliated to the LTA and British Tennis. We encourage our members to register with British Tennis to take advantage of the benefits available, including the Wimbledon Ballot for tickets to this unique sporting event.

If you are thinking of playing tennis regularly, whether for fitness, competition (our teams are in the Chester & District League), or to be part of the club's social side, there is no better value membership or a friendlier club to be found in the region. All ages and levels of skill are welcome.

Annual Membership Fees for new members:

Family: £150

Senior: £85

Student: £55

Junior: £45 (under 17yrs on 1st April) £10 (under 12 yrs old on 1st April)

Important NB:  For an alternative method of paying memberships, please pay by cheque or cash to Nicola on Sunday afternoons (see below) at the courts. You will still need to submit a completed Membership Application Form whichever way you pay. Please either e-mail the completed form to Nicola at uptontcnicola@gmail.com or hand cash/cheque to Paula or Nicola at the courts during or coaching club hours.

Club Hours:

Tuesday and Wednesday evenings - 6pm onwards

Wednesday mornings - 10am til 12 noon (one court only)

Sunday afternoons - from 4pm onwards in Summer, from 2pm in Winter (times change over with the change in clocks)

League Matches:

Home: Thursday evenings - 6pm  Away: Day depends on host club - 6pm (full schedule for 2022 listed separately)

Coaching:

The club does not provide any specific tennis coaching although a qualified LTA registered coach is available at the Upton park, please follow the link:
